The leaves are thin oval shaped. Flowers are purple-pink with 4 pets and yellow
stamen.
Edible: Leaves are edible in salads or potherb. Roots can be eaten raw.
Other uses: Attracts bees and bumblebees. Deer eat the plant.
Notes: Along pond. Grows in acidic wet soil.
